A Picture for My Wife

Painted as a present for my wife, the majority of the fauna in this picture is straight from a still television image (unusually), and I have combined it with the background taken from one of my rural pictures near home.

Its plethora of colour and leaves was what grabbed my imagination and I hope I’ve done justice to this rich subject.
